About Us
FCA Hockey was launched in 2008 with the purpose of igniting the hockey world for Christ. The hockey world consists of coaches, players, families, their support teams, and all whom they influence. The ministry is seeking to ignite them with the truth of Christ’s love and the purpose of living for Christ as athletes and in their day-to-day lives. FCA Hockey is accomplishing this through camps, clinics, teams, Bible studies, social interactions, outreach events, and adult hockey leagues.
Our Vision
To see the hockey world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.
History
In fall of 2008 Rick Randazzo was approached by FCA Sports about the possibility of starting FCA Hockey. Rick is a West Point graduate and former head hockey coach at the U.S. Naval Academy. After prayerful consideration with his family Rick came on as a part-time staff member as the first National Director of FCA Hockey. FCA Hockey has started a coaches Bible study and several huddles at colleges and high schools. "We want to ignite the hockey world for Christ," Randazzo says. "In terms of the major sports it is really the final frontier.”
