Chosen Attribute:   Teamwork

Why is this important to you?

Liam - There is nothing more special to be a part of than having to overcome challenges and difficulties with 20 of your brothers.  The things that can be accomplished are endless when everyone works together.

Declan - Unselfish teamwork helps us share in becoming better players and makes the team more successful.

Favorite Scripture verse:

Liam - Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous.  Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you.  He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Declan - John 14:12 - I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.  And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

What else should we know about you?

Liam - I have really enjoyed playing in Canada this year.  I have friends on the team from both the French and English schools, and made more friends when I was traded to Fort Erie.  I am still meeting friends from the Junior Canadians at the donut shop in Welland after practice and games.  I missed my brother Declan, but overall it was a great first year away from home.  My future goals for hockey are to hopefully play NCAA, then go on to play professional hockey, and maybe even on day win a Stanley Cup.  My favorite things outside of hockey are my family, food, and music.

Since I was young, I always like being around my big sister, who played Division 1 college hockey, as well as a year in the NWHL, and recently in Ireland.  She was MVP twice in the Women World Championship in Bulgaria and Turkey, while playing for Ireland.  My older brother plays in the ECHL for the Elmira Jacktails.  He and I attend and work at the Jon Elkins Goalie School every summer in Toronto.  I won the skills competition over two junior league goalies two years ago.

Declan - I like all sports and participating as an athlete.  My twin brother Liam and I played football and baseball together when we were younger.  We were also on a lacrosse team in junior high school that lost in the final game of the Ohio State Championship.  My favorite part of all sports is celebrating.  Liam and I also do community service together in Painsville.  I also enjoy music and playing chess.

My twin brother, older brother, and older sister are all hockey goalies.  My sister, Seanna, played D1 college hockey, a year in the NWHL in Montreal, and for team Ireland.  When I was a PeeWee I got to visit her in Ireland and train with the U14 and U16 teams there.  My older brother Neil is in the ECHL.  My parents, Liam and I, traveled to Thunder Bay, Ontario to see Neil play in the Canadian College Championship where he was named MVP for Saint Mary's University when they won the Canadian University Cup.  Neil (aka Bubby) also played four years in major juniors.
