Chosen Attribute:   Serving

Why is this important to you?

Serving is important to me because it's just how I'm able to connect with God the best. When I'm in a position to help others I think of it as just doing God's work. Jesus showed that leading by serving is important when he washed the 12 disciples feet! Also I like serving because it really helps me grow in becoming more selfless, when you're serving others you're looking beyond yourself not for a selfish reward but the intention of doing the Fathers work.

Favorite Scripture verse:

Matthew 22:14 (ESV) - "For many are called, but few are chosen."

This verse is my favorite for a few reasons! This is pretty much all the motivation I need to live a life for God, because God calls a ton of people to do great things beyond what we think we're capable of, but for myself I just want to stay in God's love to where I can accomplish all He has for me and not compromise my destiny.

What else should we know about you?

My goals for hockey would be to play at Liberty University for 4 years and hopefully have a career in pro! I would love to coach after I hang the skates up if it's in Gods plan for me. I have one sister who is 21 and going to school to become a nurse. She plays on the worship team at our church and is a big part in why I came to know the Lord. I go to Our Saviors church in Lafayette, LA. We have 3 campuses and recently had to add on to our Lafayette location because of the growth over the past few years. I volunteer at the kids church at the Broussard campus.. My favorite hobby when the weather permits is golf!
