Chosen Attribute:  Serving

Why is this important to you?

Serving others is a good exercise that lightens the burdens of others. Bringing light to a situation or helping someone accomplish a goal is a satisfying feeling. A good leader always serves others. Lowering yourself will inspire the group around you.

Favorite Scripture verse:

Ephesians 6:12-18 -  I like this verse because it’s a powerful verse from Paul that inspires me to be a warrior. Before athletics you have to prepare you’re equipment and in this verse it talks about putting on the full armor of God and being prepared to defend yourself against evil.

What else should we know about you?

I haven’t reached my full potential as a hockey player. My goal is to be intentional and diligent while training and practicing to see how far I can make it. I am focused on getting my degree from Liberty University and winning a national championship in the ACHA. My family has been awesome during a pivotal transition in my life. My brother, Jake, is my biggest role model. When I had nowhere to go, he took me in and helped me change my life. He is relatable and hardened in his spirit and mind. I am forever thankful for him and his wife Rebecca and for their hospitality, generosity, and most importantly love. Jake is my hockey coach, and he is also a pastor at The Church 24/7. Outside of hockey, I enjoy new experiences. I am compelled by the inexhaustible variety of life. I enjoy live music and everything outdoors.
