Chosen Attribute: Integrity
Why is this attribute important to you?
Integrity - As a Christian hockey player, on and off the ice integrity is very important to me. Everyday at the rink I want to be a good teammate and be a leader by setting the right examples and to be the best player I can be. Jesus had integrity every day on earth, so I try to follow him do the same.
What is your favorite scripture verse?
Ephesians 6:10-11: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."
God always doesn’t give us a downhill easy ride. Sometimes he gives us an uphill ride and we have to paddle hard. Sometimes we have to go through tough times, and that truly defines our strength and character. We can’t get through that on our own. We have to get through it with God. So each and everyday we need to put on our Armor of God.
What else should we know about you?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My parents are awesome and they would do anything for me. I have two sisters, Jenna (20), and Julie (23). Jenna went to Niagara University and had a 4.0 average last year. She plans to study abroad next semester. My other sister Julie is going to grad school in Boston to finish with her masters degree. I attend First Presbyterian Church, in Tonawanda, New York and I enjoy volunteering and helping out wherever I can. My future goals are to play college hockey, and to be a top NHL player.
