Team: Atlanta Fire 15U Elite
Hometown: Alpharetta, GA
Birth Year: 2003
Weight: 163 lbs.
Chosen Attribute: Integrity
Why is this important to you?
I believe that integrity in an individual is important because it is the foundation to other characteristics such as teamwork and serving. When one has integrity he shows honesty, fairness, virtue, and sincerity, which are applied to serving others and being a team player and not being selfish. In order to have these attributes, you must have integrity, which is why this is so important to me.
Have you been involved with FCA or FCA Hockey in the past? What has been your experience with us? How has FCA Hockey impacted you?
Yes, I have been involved in FCA Hockey in the past. In 2015, I attended a clinic in Marietta, GA when the Randazzo’s were on their 50 state tour. Last year, I participated in the Junior Team FCA at Liberty University. I had a wonderful time meeting new friends and skating as well as meeting the coaches and listening to the teachings. It was a new experience for me to be at a University, and I really enjoyed the time I was there. I left feeling very thankful that I was able to attend. This May, I will be heading up to the new facility in Alexandria, MN to skate with Team FCA. I am really looking forward to being at the new facility and being a part of all they have to offer (skating, games, fellowship, and teaching).
What is your favorite scripture verse? Why is this important to you?
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
My favorite scripture verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. This verse is important to me because it really sets a foundation for me and tells me that no matter what, I can lean on Jesus and trust in him, especially during difficult times. For me personally, I can always look back on this verse and stay confident in my faith and God’s wisdom, especially when coming out of the locker room after being around a lot of guys who don’t know Jesus.
How did you hear about FCA Hockey?
My mom took me to a FCA clinic that was at a local rink.
What else should we know about you (future goals in hockey, family members, what church do you go to, favorite stuff outside of hockey, etc.)
My future goals for hockey would be to play junior hockey in the USHL, attend college and continue in the sport I love at hopefully a D1 level. There are four of us in my family, including my mom, Stacy and my dad, Joe and my 12 year old sister, Cosette. In addition, I have 2 dogs and a lizard. We go to a church called Gracepoint in Canton, GA. One thing I like about Gracepoint is my pastor’s teaching. He brings his teaching to life and helps me understand what he is trying to convey and is very relatable. Also, the free donuts are great, too!
I love the outdoors and in my off time I enjoy fishing, hunting, quad riding, and lacrosse. I also enjoy cooking and am pretty good at it! I have a lawn mowing business called, “Hardworking-Teen Lawn Care” and am saving my earnings to purchase a car (and spending some on fishing gear, of course). I am also serving at a school called The Anvil Academy, where I apprentice and help lead and teach 5th and 6th grade boys. During this time, I lead devotions, assist the students in their physical fitness time and help with class projects. My desire is to be the best leader and role model for those looking up to me.
