Below are a few of the ways you can serve as part of the FCA Hockey Staff.  To apply, please fill out the application below, selecting which position you would like to be considered for, and we will reach out to you with more information. 

Coaches – Coach a summer team, work on ice instruction at a camp (usually college, HS or junior coaches)

Interns  – spend your summer traveling with FCA Hockey (4-6 events) and learning what it means to be part of our team.  Open to current professional, college, junior and HS players (graduating players desired). Also looking for a media intern to focus on telling the camp story through videos and pictures.  

Huddle Leaders / Counselors  – work one or more camps, both on ice and off ice leadership directly with campers (current players, parents, coaches)

Volunteers  – join us for a couple hours or for longer, activities include working check in at a camp, arranging a meal, join a prayer team and others (anyone who has a heart and time to help) - Please fill out the form below


Summer Intern

SUMMER INTERNS will spend part of the summer (June - August) working with FCA Hockey as an official employee of FCA. You will work camps and tournaments around the country, which means traveling and being able to pour into players of all ages at multiple events throughout the summer.  

 As a summer intern you will get paid each month as you learn from our FCA Hockey leadership team.  Both paid and unpaid positions are available, and the opportunity to raise funds to help with expenses does exist.

In addition to Interns, we are also looking for Huddle Leaders

What is a Huddle Leaders? 

Candidates must know how to play hockey and have their own equipment. They need to be able to instruct players on basic form and technique of skating an stick handling. They must be able/willing to teach lessons from the Huddle Leader guide to small groups, and to share their testimony of coming to faith with the group. Candidates must also be able to travel on their own, if needed, across the country. Must be flexible, and responsible

Step 1 - Fill out the Volunteer Interest Form on this page.

Step 2 - Follow this link and fill out the Ministry Leaders Application or MLA. ***Make sure you select Ice Hockey as your sport, to ensure the form comes to us.

Step 3 - Once you've completed the MLA send us a quick email and let us know you've filled it so we can review it. 

What is the Schedule?

Dates of employment will vary based on your availability and our event needs. During the interview process, we will work with you to select the 4-6 events you will / can attend.  

Requirements for a Coach, Intern or Huddle Leader:

Any male, Christian, hockey player over 16 years of age can apply. 

Desired attributes include:
 1. Played at or above the AA level
 2. Loves working with kids (patient)
 3. Flexible
 4. Responsible
 5. Can speak to groups
 6. Can lead off-ice sports
 7. Able to share personal testimony
 9. Willing to raise required funds as needed
