Aaron Partridge

Team: Nichols School (Prep/18U)

Hometown: Buffalo, NY

Position: Defense

Birth Year: 1999

Height: 5’7"

Weight: 165 lbs

Chosen Attribute: Teamwork

Why is this important to you?

This attribute is most important to me because you will never be able to succeed unless you and your teammates work together. Throughout my life and hockey career I have seen this play out in the different teams that I have played on, in school, and many other places.

The teams where we did not work together and often argued with each other didn't work out as well as when we were all very very close and bought into the team aspect of Hockey. Without this attribute you will never be able to succeed in hockey or with anything else in life.

Every place you go you are going to have to work will all different types of people and have to get a certain job done. Without teamwork you will never be able to accomplish anything.

Have you been involved with FCA or FCA Hockey in the past? What has been your experience with us?

I have been apart of FCA Hockey for three years now. My brother was the first one in our family to get involved with the summer camps and every year since we look forward to the camp in Buffalo, NY. This camp has been one of my favorite camps from hanging out in the dorms with your teams to talking and getting to know some of the counselors who care about you this camp has to be one of the best I've ever attended.

Also I spent a week last summer with Team FCA in the chowder cup in Boston, MA. The chowder cup was so much fun from the activities that FCA had and playing in the games, I made memories that will last me a lifetime.

What is your favorite scripture verse?

This verse stood out to me and I always turn to it when times get tough. This verse also motivates me to share the gospel with other people when the opportunity arises.

Romans 1:16- For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

I first learned about this verse when attending a Lecrae concert at kingdom bound. After that Lecrae became one of my favorite artists and hearing that verse and how well he spreads the gospel I thought that that verse would be a good way to live my life. Not denying anything and always sharing my faith with whoever wants to hear about it.

How did you hear about FCA Hockey?

My brother did the summer camp in Buffalo, NY and the next year I decided that I wanted to do it as well.

What else should we know about you (future goals in hockey, family members, what church do you go to, favorite stuff outside of hockey, etc.

Next year I plan to play junior hockey and eventually play in college as well. My brother is attending Liberty University next year. Outside of hockey I enjoy my time going fishing, hanging out with my friends, playing golf. I attend the Chapel at Crosspoint and volunteer once a month to run the lights.
